This website was developed to meet the level AA standards of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) Guidelines and for ease of use by all website visitors.

We try to use clear and simple language.

We have provided a keyword Search facility to help you search for information. You can find this feature at the top right-hand side of each page.

Translation, interpreter services and other formats are available for our information and to meet communication needs.

The site is speech enabled using BrowseAloud.

Using BrowseAloud

BrowseAloud speaks web pages aloud for people who find it difficult to read online. It makes using the Internet easier for people who have:

  • Low literacy and reading skills
  • English as a second language
  • Dyslexia
  • Mild visual impairments

BrowseAloud will read every webpage on our site. It can also read pdf documents in Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 6.0 onwards. BrowseAloud is free to download.

About the OwnCo Homes logo at the top of the page

The OwnCo Homes Logo image consists of the word “Own” in large bold font in white with the word “Co” written directly underneath in the same font in grey, hanging from the initial capital “O”.  Alongside and to the right of the word “Co” is the word “homes” written in a script font in grey.  The initial capital “O” in “Own” also forms part of a graphic of a door key, pointing upwards at a 45 degree angle.
